Plex and Chromecast Questions

Hello! My name is Rey and i'm very new to this world of streaming video devices. my wifi router and my pc is in my room, my TV is in the living room. The wifi signal can be kinda sucks in the living room (ive tried streaming videos on my phone there, it buffers every 2 second).

 

Questions:

1a. if i cast a video from my pc, which one downloads the video? the PC or the chromecast? because if the chromecast downloads it, it'll be slow

 

1b. if the pc downloads it, can the chrome stream it with no lag? it doesnt lag when i watch videos on my PC, but the wifi signal in the living room is kinda weak. Do you think it will lag? if i connect my S3 to the wifi in the living room i would get a 2 out of 5.

 

2. can i watch videos from vodlocker, putlocker, gorrilavid, videoweed, etc through my plex with my chromecast? can i watch flash videos online also?

 

3. I need plexpass for chomecast, right?

1a. The Chromecast. The device you cast from only tells the Chromecast where to fetch the stream. If you have bad wifi I would suggest you forget about it or fix your wifi setup.
