Hi,

I’m currently having issues with Dolby Vision playback on my TV.

So the exact issue I’m having is the movie direct plays from the start with no issues at all. But if i pause the movie or try to play from where i left off i get the loading symbol continuously. If i do not pause the whole movie will play with no issues at all.

My plex server is run on my NAS and the only issues i have is with DV, HDR10 is fine.

Any tips on this without removing DV from my movies?

Thanks

That’s a player issue. If you are actually trying to use your TV app, you’ll have far better support from an Nvidia Shield Pro, for flawless playback.

Yes, i don’t have the shield app. But i know the Xbox app worked flawlessly before i got my LG TV. I have the same issues with the Xbox too and on my Samsung TV.

Maybe I’m missing something… HDR etc, all work perfectly until DV is introduced and then it plays fine unless you try to skip.

I did remove DV from the file and it played fine. So seems to just be the DV that’s causing the issue.

Neither the Xbox nor a tv are powerful players. Get a shield pro and be happy
