Plex and shield, so many problems

over the last 3 years, I’ve seen plex get worse and worse, I have 2 shield boxes, and act the same.

1–on some files you jump back it decides to jump 40sec forward.
2–jumping forward audio sync goes out
3-- detecting intro normally makes the player stop or pause so badly you cannot watch, would be nice to tell it to look at intros at a certain time
4–detecting intros can take longer than the actual show(can it be turned off)
I lot of these problems are shield problems but have still not been solved.
is there something better out there.PLEX I do not want a new intro ect just a system that works.

anyone know the answer to these problems as this is 3 years in the making

Something like intro detection shouldn’t take any more than a few minutes

Are you sure it’s not the new credit detection feature? That uses a huge amount of CPU for an extended period

You can turn both off in the web UI under Settings → Library

If you have everything turned off and you’re still having playback issues, you will probably have to recreate a failure and gather the server logs for someone to look at
