Plex and TIDAL - strange issues with tracks

I have just transferred my TIDAL HiFi subscription over to Plex to integrate with my music collection on my server. I’ve encountered a couple of perplexing issues with TIDAL’s collection as accessed through Plex.

I wanted to add a couple of Joan Baez albums. The first, From Every Stage, appears in the correct order when I view in the “Music on TIDAL” screen. However, when I add it to “My Music”, the songs are all scrambled if played from “My Music”. For example, when “Suzanne” is selected it instead plays “Blowin’ in the Wind”. If I play the album directly from “Music on TIDAL” rather than through “My Music” it plays correctly.

The second album, Gulf Winds, appears on “Music on TIDAL” with only 8 out of 9 tracks. The final track, “Gulf Winds”, does not appear. If I look at the album in the TIDAL app, it has all the tracks.

Has anyone else come across similar issues?

After the first issue occurring several more times on other albums, I worked out what this issue is. When adding albums with multiple “discs” (i.e. which were multiple CDs in physical format) from TIDAL to my Plex library, they are strangely scrambled.

The only solution I could find was to add each song on the album to my library individually. This is rather tedious, but after this the album will play correctly with no scrambling.

Not really sure what might be causing this issue and whether it’s something I’m doing (can’t imagine so) or a wider issue with Plex.
