Both plex players above will attempt to play my audiobook file .m4a/.m4b ~2GB (45-50hr lengthy books) what appears to be 2-3 times over 3s timeframe and then error out. The files of both extension types will play on the web player but take 5-6s to begin audio playback and then play with 0 issues. The wait for plex to play the file isnt a problem, but not being able to play those files on any of the mobile apps is an issue.
