What version of the OS have you been updated too? After the beta finished there was 2 other updates, one that was published today.
30 mins into a movie, all seems rather stable.

If you have started to play a video successfully, then you will be able to complete it.
But if you try to make a connection to a new resource, things may goes wrong.
Iāve the first finale version for France. The second update not yet available. So if second version fixes the issue weāre hold by Ota update schedule.
No Samsung update in the UK yet.
Edit none of the solutions work on my S21 Ultra. Plex will either infinite load, or crash.
Just installed the latest ota update on my S21 Ultra and the behaviour is the same - seems to behave OK for a bit after a reboot (same as before), after a few moments and playing different videos it is back to not working.
I can usually make it work by brute force trying for 5-10 times (press play, wait, close video, press play again). I can usually seek (with the buttons) but if I try to pause I cannot play again and need to close the video and go through the same dance again.
Same here did the update worked at first but now it isnāt working anymore.
After many attempts, I found another pattern. Maybe the same as yours.
If I switch the Disable HW overlays option in system developer options (no matter enable or disable in the end), this problem will temporarily recover. I think this is essentially the same as being temporarily available after a restart.
Also, if you start playing successfully, you can complete it. But you canāt fast forward or play other movies, unless switch the above option.
@sixones Hope this discovery will help. And if you faile to reproduct this issue, I can share you my movies in case this is a problem related to a particular file format. However, all my films have problems, mp4, mkv, HEVC etc.

Yeah here the same again, it worked for 1 day and now there is the same problem. Nothing plays and the zoom trick donāt work anymore.
I pay for the plex pass but when here nothing happens , I donāt pay anymore.
Here are more then enough people with the problemā¦ there must something happen.

Yep, same issue. Refuses to play anything on my S21 with Android 12, remotely or locally. Just gives me a spinning wheel. Seems to give a 503 error when launching in an external player. Everything works fine on my TV. Please fix

I had the same problem on S21 Ultra. Lowering screen resolution to HD+ fixed it. I set it back to my usual FHD+ and it is still working so far. No problems with Plex app on S10e (same plex app version 8.26.2.29389).
Installed latent Update and it works again. Maybe relaxed or not. But it works.
Man I thought I was going crazy. I have the exact same issue. S21 plus here

Latest update of what, out of curiosity?
Android? Plex on mobile? Plex server?
Guys I dont know if related but it works again on my phone. The only manual thing I did was to rebuilt Metadata on my computer server (windows) when prompted.
Maybe phone restarted during one night but not sure.
Iām still on the first official rom version

I was having problems with multiple apps not just plex since the update. I found this article and it seems to have fixed my issues for now.
I uninstalled web view, then hit update right after and itās fixed many of my crashing issues including plex streaming.
Can confirm after 12 hours of doing this Plex has been working without issue.
