Plex Android App over OpenVPN not working, but browser does work

Hi everyone,

I’ve been setting up my Plex Server for a few days now and part of that has been the OpenVPN tunnel. I finished the setup and am able to connect from anywhere and then ping the local IP in the subnet. When I visit 10.8.0.1:32400 in my browser, both on the android device causing problems and on any other device, such as desktop, laptop etc. are able to stream plex in 4k that way, through the tunnel of course. However, when I specify 10.8.0.1 in the manual connection, it still uses an indirect connection via Plex Relay, meaning it doesn’t pick up the “local” connection. I’ve not found any posts with exactly that issue, only one that showed a solution to accept the subnet used by OpenVPN but isn’t that ruled out because I’m able to use it over the browser? Also, allow insecure connections is set to “always”.
