Just got a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. All system updates applied. Downloaded Plex Android App. The app plays some files just fine and others error out as soon as I hit ‘play’. Mostly 4K Content is erroring out. Transcoding on the server is on and should automatically kick in if the device isn’t capable of playing the original file.
Following are the details of the files:
Playing.txt (2.1 KB)
Not Playing.txt (1.4 KB)
The only difference I can see between these files is HVEC → H264 & AAC → EAC3.
One thing I noticed is that Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard file is being transcoded too.
I looked in the logs and when I play the other file (Emily the Criminal), apparently the player is throttling.

Why is this happening? Shouldn’t transcoding kick in and the media start working? Can someone help me figure out a solution?
