- No Aspect Ratio in Video Player
- Video player does not expand screen to multi-touch (basic for video player apps)
- The position of the subtitles varies depending on the original video screen ratio and resolution. (I think position of subtitles according to the original video resolution and screen ratio, but you can use a separate subtitle layer…Or do a precise calculation of the location of the subtitles. It’s really frustrating to get lost in basic things like this…)
- Issue number 3 occurs when transcoding streaming and playing transcoded download video.
- Downloading transcoding video takes an incredibly long time. Can’t you make it faster when the server makes the transcoded download video…? This is not a network issue.
- 2160 hdr content → no same resolution sdr transcoding option. Or no other resolution hdr transcoding option (…)
- External player does not work normally.
Basically, there are many large and small problems with video play related to transcoding.
I’m satisfied with plex as a media platform, but it’s not good video player
