My devices stay up to date. I purchased new chromecast with google tv for my home and noticed that any srt file played on them results in transcoding video and audio at 10mb to 20mb per second. Same files are played without subtitles, direct play and 1mb zero lag. Is plex ever going to have the ability to play srt or any of the other standard subtitles without trancoding? Is this being worked?
