App just auto updated and now completely does not work, just says “uh oh… somethings not right”.
Same version, having issues with it as well, also on iPad Pro. It will work, but after several minutes of playing the video will skip back a few seconds… and then a few seconds later the video will stop playing as if it was the end of the episode.

Uninstall and reinstall of app seems to have fixed it.
Uninstall and reinstall didn’t work for me. But maybe I have a different problem. The app seems to work, but instead of playing a movie a black box is displayed. Works fine on iPhone…
I think I had a similar problem at one point, a restart of my plex server fixed that
Mine was giving me a green screen with the safari browser. I turned off “utilize hardware acceleration” and it went away. YMMV.
