Plex App continuously crashes on PS4 - Error CE-34878-0

Server Version#: v1.40.3.8555-fef15d30c running on headless Ubuntu Server 24.04.1 LTS x86_64 (command-line only - no GUI)
Player Version#: 3.00 (PS4-CUSA-01850

If I uninstall the Plex app, then reinstall it, it’s OK on the first launch. However, after that, it crashes with Error CE-34878-0 when I launch it.

Also, it doesn’t matter if the app is installed on the internal HDD or my extended storage - it still crashes.

The PS4 is running the latest system software as of the timestamp on this post. Obviously I’ve lookup error CE-34878-0 on Google, and discovered it’s just a generic catch-all error.
