Plex App for Android Crashes When Playing Music MP3

I am trying to switch over to Plex as my main media streaming server cause google play is shutdown. When I try to play my mp3 music files on my android S9 phone using the plex app, it keeps crashing or freezing. I can watch videos just fine- but i can not seem to play any of my music well. It just crashes when i play a song and move out the app or click another son g to play which is weird. I am hesitant to have to buy a plexpass just to try out a mp3 player.

I have a Samsung S9 and music works just fine for me. Both mp3 and flac. Can you reproduce the issue then get me logs from the app? Android, Android TV, Fire TV Logs | Plex Support
