Hi guys,
Just took my plex pass to try plex client on my PS3 but it’s running very very slow.
It took me 15 second to load a directory, 20 sec to start a music … seriously, I don’t get it.
Is it the same thing for everyone ?

You may find this slowness relative to other apps is related to the issue reported and acknowlaged in https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/180195/ps3-v2-4-19-navigation-gets-slower-over-time
The dev team are aware of the issue, but are currently having problems with the platform updates released by Sony. The latest one has apparently fixed some outstanding problems but caused others hence the lack of recent releases.
Disabling the remote access on the server side made my ps3 responsive again. Not sure why it would effect things since my ps3 is on the same local network as my server. Menus are working good and shows are loading fine for me now.

Made a huge difference here on the PS3! PS4 seemed to be fine before this but the PS3 was painstakingly slow!
