Plex App Freezing on Smart TV

With the new Plex app update on my Vizio smart TV (PX 75 g1), it keeps getting frozen on the Plex logo once I launch the app. This happens whether you launch the app directly from the home screen or try to cast something. The app is literally unusable since it never progresses past the logo. Is this happening for anyone else?

I don’t see any options to uninstall the app, and this keeps happening even after a factory reset on the TV
