Vizio SmartCast Plex App Wont Load/Start - Plex is taking a long time to start

The version listed is the older version <yesterday 7/11/22> , I am assuming, because that version worked. The latest version that was pushed to the Vizio fails to connect to the Plex Server, and I am given two options. Resart App & Clear Settings and Restart Plex. I have tried both, along with Rebooting the TV. The Plex App displays the message “Plex is taking a long time to start”

I am now having the exact same issue on my M70-D3.

Yes same problem here today as well. Worked fine last night, not working today (first time trying to use TV today). Tried both Restart App option, as well as Clear Settings and Restart Plex option. Also trying rebooting TV, nothing working.

Came here and saw a new update an hour ago, assuming some issue with that.

Also having the same issue! Hopefully they can get it working soon. I have to have Plex to watch live TV on my deck!

Same issue here. Restart app nor reboot TV does any good. Just started today.

Exact same issue trying to start Plex app tonight. Restarted app…rebooted Vizio TV…but no love. Hope they fix this soon.

Same issue here, on my M55-E0.

I am able to use Plex on my phone to cast to the display, so that’s good.

Having the same issue-started sometime in the last couple hours.

Restarted app, rebooted TV, even factory reset the TV and forced the newest updates to redownload…still broken.

Thanks for the report. We had an issue with the deploy today and it was supposed to have been reverted, but apparently something’s up there. I’m looking into it.

Thinking the bad deploy might be cached so it may just clear up, but we’re checking on that and seeing if we can force it.

Sorry for the issues everyone. Hopefully should be fixed now for everyone.

Well, I’m glad were dealing with this at the beginning of the week rather than the weekend.
