Plex app hangs when playing local file content on Hisense VIDAA Plex app

Plex app hangs on my Hisense C2TUK when playing local content from my Diskstation NAS while Plex app on Roku 4K plays the same content from the same server with no issues. Both devices are on the same network. No network speed difference. C2TUK plays content via DLNA from Plex server with no issue. Please advise.

Hi,

We have the same Plex client version and I do not face buffering issue on my Leica VP which is also running VidaaOS.

But I previously had the same platform version as you (VidaaOS version 7.60) and I was facing near-permanent buffering issues with this one.

VidaaOS 9.01 solved the issue for me.

The buffering issue occurred again yesterday on one local content using Plex on my VidaaOS VP. The exact same content played flawlessly with the VidaaOS Media Player streaming from the same local server using DLNA protocol. It was not continuously buffering but the occurrence was like every 5 mn making it unusable for watching a film.
