Plex-App hangs when TV was powered off before

Hi,
the Plex-App on my TVs (Samsung UE65KS8090 and UE55KS7090) hangs in a black screen when I start the app the first time after the TV was turned on the first time after a full shutdown (powerless). I have to press the “Return”-button on my remote to keep the app going on in the loading process. As I shut down my TVs always via a remote power socket this is a little annoying. The issue came up with the last Plex-app update on the TV. Here are the Plex-app version infos from my TVs:
Client-Version: 5.14.1
Platform version: 2.4

Was the app running when you turned it off?

I have just tested it. It makes no difference if I close the plex-app correctly before I shut down the TVs (powerless) or not. The issue remains the same at the next start of the plex-app after powering on the TVs again.

The Client Version was meanwhile updatet to 5.16.1 and the Server version to 1.23.1.4602 but the problem remains the same. Any ideas?

sorry not yet. we have been trying to reproduce with our samsung but it launches normally.

I have the same issue ( reported a few months back along with the still persisting rewind / fast forward issue ). It’s completely random. Some days it launches fine. Other days, I get a black screen, have to press back or exit, and then it launches fine the second time. This is stretching back months and many client versions
