Plex app not able to play private library

since the weekend I am not able to play my private library remotely from my NAS on neither my fairphone 4 nor the galaxy s22 of my girlfriend in den mobile plex app outside my home network. I did not change any configurations or updated the server. I can normally connect in the app, also browse my content, but i get the attached error, when i try to play something.
When I use the external IP adress in a web browser it works perfectly, so I assume the app is bugged. What can be done to fix this?

Does app.plex.tv work as well? Likely would need to see the android logs from right after you get error

thanks for your response. since today web streaming from outside my network with the plex app work fine again. i did not change any setting in the plex server or my NAS :confused:
how can this be possible? is there any routing through the plex main servers which can cause such an issue?

It will initiate plex relay if remote access on your end stops working for some reason. Which could cause it a transcode since the speed would probably be lower.
