Plex App not logging in on LG C3 TV

Hey guys,

I’ve recently bought a new LG C3 TV that my authorised devices list says is running webOS 8.1.0.

I’ve downloaded the Plex app and signed in using web link, but after that it doesn’t log in at all; just stays on a grey screen and won’t sign me in. I’ve tried skipping sign in too, and it just ends up on the same grey screen.

Anybody have any idea about how to solve this?

I’m having the same problem tonight on my Vizio TV. It was working fine, accessing and streaming from my server, but saying that I was offline(?) and it was unable to access plex.tv.

Stupidly, I logged off from the TV app, and now whenever I try to relink it, I get a gray screen and nothing happens. The Plex screen saver does kick in after 5 minutes, so the app is not actually hung, it’s just not doing anything.

I wonder if Plex released a broken update or something.
