Plex App On Android Can No Longer See Local Server?

This is Android App specific, and happened two updates ago.

I am running the latest Windows Plex Server, version 0.9.16.6 but my Samsung S6 Edge can no longer see my local Plex server. All other iOS devices can, and I can log in via the web to ‘launch’ and view my stuff correctly.

I’ve used Plex for years, but this is frustrating. Tips? I’ve noticed others in a similar situation very recently if you look at the Google Play reviews of Plex…

Something has happened! PLEASE FIX! Happy to help debug.

There are many threads about this. Change secure connections to preferred on the server and the app. That should fix it.

Hmm, thanks for your help. I had to change that in order for Plex to be accessible for my XBox One, so I guess I’ll retroubleshoot that app later.
