I only use Plex for Music and have recently purchased a lifetime pass as it was the only application that provided gapless playback on Windows,Android and Android TV!
PlexAmp is really good (bringing it to Android TV would be great but I appreciate the work involved).
However on the Nvidia Shield when clicking an item on a playlist it plays that song and queues the album from which it came. I would suggest more intuitive behavious based on other audio streaming applications would be to queue the playlist and play the selected item.
If this is a feature that is already availble or something I’m doing wrong please let me know.
The same thing happens with video playlists on the Nvidia Shield, i really would of thought they would of fixed this by now. It’s been a problem for years.
Agreed. On the Nvidia Shield (possibly on all Android TV devices, but I haven’t confirmed), clicking an episode inside of a playlist takes you to the menu for the season that episode belongs to instead of just playing the episode and then proceeding to play the rest of the playlist. The phone app works as expected (using Pixel 6). Would be nice if TV app worked the same way.
