Plex app on Apple TV has lost its ability to show the "next" episode of a TV show

On the homepage of the Apple TV, the status of TV shows is no longer accurate. It shows an older episode that I’ve already watched as the current (or next)…

What’s happened to the app?
Plex Home page shows, correctly, S1E19 as next episode of “Prodigal Son”:

Apple TV “in progress” screen shows, incorrectly, S1E15 as “ongoing” or “next” episode:

Killing the Plex app AND restarting the Apple TV solves this - for a couple of days, then I have to do it again.

This is getting ridiculous…:confused:
