When playing movies on AppleTV (streaming from a Synology NAS) with multiple audio tracks, the sound cuts out after 10-15 minutes or so. I can switch the audio track to a different one and it plays fine for a while, then cuts out again. It’s not one particular movie or one particular kind of audio track (5.1 vs. stereo, etc.). How can I file this bug?
I have this problem, but only with live tv coming from an hdhomerun prime (cable card) tuner. The audio cuts out after a few minutes playing the live stream. It does appear to consistently happen at commercial transitions. I have to stop then start the stream again in Plex. This makes live tv almost unusable.
I have the non 4K Apple TV and I am streaming to a HomePod mini stereo pair.
I’m experiencing audio cutting out mid playback. Seems to have started with the recent 7.11 Apple TV app release. Simply jumping back 10 seconds (left side of the trackpad remote) seems to make it work again, for a while. Super annoying that it keeps happening, though.
Same issue. non-4k AppleTV to HomePod mini stereo pair. The audio will play fine for a few minutes and then just cut out. As others have mentioned, no issues with any other TVos app.
Same issue, 4K Apple TV linked to a pair HomePods. The sound cut-off after a certain time or switch from one homepod to the other. Only restarting Plex fix the issue for a short time.
This makes Plex almost useless and very frustrating.
I’m using the new enhanced Player.
