Plex.app on Macbook pro VOLUME low

Player Version#: web

Just installed desktop version 1.110.0.351-4e48eb83

on the desktop player: volume is way too low.
on the web version everthing is ok (after turning of Normalise Multi-channel Audio)

It drives me crazy! What can I do to make the desktopversion (OSX) WORK???

Just got my new MacBook Pro and have the same issue. Google led me here.
I tried turning off Normalise Multi-channel Audio in advanced settings. No change.

Also i noticed that there is no HDR.

Playback is without transcoding in LAN.
