Plex Web and App Player on MacBook Pro M2 Has Low Volume

Player Version#: Web ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I don’t see a version anywhere in the app on the Mac.

My volume is at max in the app AND in the web browser app. Neither play anything at a reasonable volume, it’s far too low. There’s no rational explanation for this. It’s only affecting Plex player as literally any other media player, local or web, plays at an audible volume. YouTube, Mp3’s, wavs, literally anything EXCEPT Plex. Plex even plays at a normal volume as it should on my Apple TV, iPhone, Ubuntu desktop and other devices. It’s just the Mac OS version that seems to suck.

Still looking for an answer here. I can’t imagine I’m the only one on the entire planet with the problem.

Still no one on earth using Plex on a MacBook Pro M2 with Sonoma? Nobody? How does nobody have this same problem?

It seems identical to me on an M2 MacBook Air and Mac OS 14.5. Server version is 1.40.3.8555 on a Mac. The Plex app is Version 1.96.0.177-dc5df788. Adjusting the volume slider in the app seems to work as it should.
