I like your Plex Media Player interface, but also nice to see you’ve opted with a very “Apple TV” interface for this one. I like the hover / parallax effect that I assume you are using here!

As another poster wrote: We are rooting for you! An Apple TV Plex client will complete the puzzle for me, so it’s going to be huge when you get this approved!

I find it amazing the you take the time to code instead of just drinking and watching the sea 
(I got married on Maui two years ago, and I can tell you that coding wouldn’t be my first priority if I were back )

Do we know why they are rejecting it? Is it something small? Or is it because Plex competes with their “video” service? Because if that’s the case then why allow Netflix, Hulu, etc?

It’s nothing nefarious, it’s just around certain nuances of the rules around linking to your website in certain contexts.

any update on the Universal Search? Just curious as to how open the api is for developers and does Plex plan on implementing it?

Yes they do, but unfortunately devs can’t use the api yet.

Thanks! Looked at a few pages but couldn’t find it. So from what I have been reading, the Universal Search is based on Approval from apple.
2nd Question, is Plex in the process of attempting to get approval?

Nope, afaik they (apple) just haven’t released the api yet. There are however a few “big players” like Netflix etc. that can already use the api.
