I did some mockups how Plex could look like on the Apple TV by sticking to the Apple Design Guidelines…
Keeping my fingers crossed this happens soon.
Design doesn’t fit with Plex UX, it will be similar to all of the latest clients.

It’s in review by Apple as we speak. Of course we have no idea of whether it’ll be approved for launch, you never know about these sorts of things…

Of course it is not in your hand now if you’re ready at launch but lets be optimistic:D At least even if apple takes their time you guys will be in the “launch-window”. I really didn’t expect a Plex app on the new ATV so soon. Looking at all the releases in the last weeks you guys surely don’t sleep much

I also didn’t expect to see Plex on Apple TV 4 so soon. Let’s hope Apple approves it for launch!

It was a bit of a whirlwind, and a number of us have to catch up sleep

Are you still confident of getting approved?
You can never be confident, it’s a human reviewing stuff and if they take something too literal the’ll reject. It’s a game, a not very fun game.
My app was rejected the first time, hopefully it makes it though round two.
@elan does it support 5.1?
