I don’t know and haven’t looked for the server and player versions. The server version is the most recent as I just downloaded it 2 days ago. The Roku box is older and the Fire Cube (not fire tv) is more recent. They both play all other apps without issue.
See notes below and please let me know what could be causing this? Is it a setting in Plex or what could it be.
- Setup the Plex server on my Mac, also newer machine, and sync libraries for movies etc. All that is done.
- Tried the Plex app on older Roku box and just gives me a general error and only loaded 13% and stopped stating there was an issue.
- Then went to another tv with a Fire Cube connected and downloaded the Plex app, logged in, and same experience as the Roku box. Generic error and it isn;t playing anything.
- Tried multiple movies on each and same result.
