I had been using the Samsung Plex app with Plex Media Server on Windows with no problem. I moved to a new home and set everything up again, but now I’ve installed the Plex Media server on my High Sierra iMac. I am able to connect to the server from my Samsung TV’s Plex app no problem. I can play one track from my library or a single track from a playlist no problem, as soon as I go to play another track, I get an error that there was a problem and the app just won’t continue to play, I have to quit.
The TV is connected to my router via ethernet, my iMac is connected to the same subnet via WiFi. I can access the internet no problem. I can also access and play my library and playlist tracks from the safari browser where PMS is running no problem. It’s the Samsung app the keeps dying after one track.
Can’t figure this out…
