Plex app

IOS app on Ipad/Iphone stopped working since yesterday.
Samsung TV app stopped working
Macbook plex player stopped working.
cant even load the server from a desktop pc.

While the mediaserver is working fine. i have internet. nothing has changed since weeks.

Mind sharing some more details?
given there’s no massive outcry from all over the place with users reporting their entire system stopped working, this appears to be a limited/individual issue.

You might start with what version of PMS you have installed (and on what platform.
When you write the server itself is working fine… can you still access it from your browser using both the server’s local IP and https://app.plex.tv/desktop?
When you write those apps stopped working… what exactly are you experiencing, e.g. are they crashing / not starting / not connecting to your server / …?

my apoligies. my kid was up all night and im having a migraine.

strangely it fixed itself during the day. but still strange.

Plex Media Server Version 1.24.5.5173
windows 10 all updates installed.
i can acces the server from http://127.0.0.1:32400/web and http://localhost:32400/web

What didnt work:
https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/ from the same computer or other computer( not through wifi neither wire.
Ipad (latest IOS and Plex app)
Iphone 11 (latest IOS and Plex app)
TV Samsung plex app. latest software both tv and plex app.

but like i said it fixed itself but now the Quality is very low when streaming to pc or everything else. its strange i know.

im not that familiar with plex. i just set it up and it worked till yesterday.
i resetted my home and internet company’s router also the PMS
looked at the port forwarding (is correctly set)

the only thing that bothered me from the start since i was using plex ( since years)
was that the remote acces always was in red and not available outside my network ..
but i still can connect to the PMS even when i was at work i could connect to it.

i found previous post saying i should enable a specific public port and also fiddle with my
routers for port forwarding. i tried everything it didnt/doesnt change anything noticable.

i imagen it strange to someone else too. and there’s def not a cut clear solution to this.
