Plex App Suddenly Stopped Working on LG TV

After updating the LG app from 2.1 to 2.2 on around 3.17.20 the App now only loads to a screen that says either Error 337, or ‘Network Unavailable’. This was all working fine before the LG App update, I have not made any changes to the server/setup.

The TV is model OLED65C8PUA

The PMS is run on a Mac OS device (mac mini) which has had no changes done to it before or after this issue started. I’ve only tried restarting the device which doesn’t help.

The TV itself confirms the wired network connection is good, XPlay and Netflix both work fine, and if I delete the app from the TV and restore to factory defaults, after installing the Plex App again it will work FINE but ONLY THE FIRST TIME. Once I power off the TV and try again it goes back to this issue.

Extremely frustrating that Plex would break support with an unnecessary app update in the middle of a stay-at-home order when we’re relying on our plex server(s) more than ever!

Player Version#: 2.2 (according to LG content store)

Not sure what logs to provide, if someone from Plex could walk me through that I’ll be glad to provide them.
