I just bought a new Element Smart TV with XUMO interface. Upon attempting to access PLEX, I am presented with the infamous “Looking for your personal media? Don’t worry, it hasn’t been abducted! It’s safe and sound on your Plex Media Server, but our XUMO app doesn’t support personal media access.”
Here is my problem - I understand the agreement with PLEX and XFINITY disallowed personal media, but this is not an XFINITY box. So, who is to blame? XUMO? PLEX?
Lawyers?
And how do I fix it? (TV is nice, but not nice enough to put up with this.)
