With the new update, too many buttons have been added, or they are not placed correctly.
Subtitle auto-sync doesn’t work in the new app

You mean more buttons aren’t better? 
This not only has a ticket but has already been worked on. Not sure if it made the cutoff for the upcoming next release but if not then it will be in the next one.
