Plex Apple TV Dolby Vision not working

According to the changeling the latest Plex clients for tvOS should be Dolby Vision capable. I enthusiastically opened a dolby vision MP4 and tried to play but it fell back to HDR10. Am I missing something? Everything is directly playing. Does this only work with the latest DV MKVs?

Ok. Just found a suitable DV MKV to test with and playback is Dolby Vision.

But it looks as if it is still limited to 5.1 or am I overlooking something there? Infuse is playing the file with 7.1 (but without DV).

Only supports profile 5. Not profile 7 Dolby vision that Blu-ray uses. So no good for mkv rips.
