Dolby Vision in .mp4 on Apple TV 4K (2021) and iPad Pro (2020)?

  • Apple TV 4K (2021) with tvOS 14.6
  • Philips 58PUS7304/12 (2019)
  • iPad Pro 12.9" (2020)

Hi! As far as I can understand Plex should now support DV on Apple TV? At least the single layer version (i.e not BluRay-rip in .mkv).

I’ve tried to play this .mp4 file with Plex on both the ATV and the iPad Pro with no luck. It’s the classic purple/green colors. If I play it in Infuse 7 on either of the devices it works perfect, so the device itself can handle it.

Am I doing something wrong here or haven’t Plex fixed DV?
