Is this page out of date regarding DSD (DSF) files? What media formats are supported? | Plex Support
I am thinking you have an opportunity to advertise yourself more to audiophiles!
My DSF files are playable on Plex and Plexamp apps on my iPhone and on a Samsung Android tablet. Though the Plex app on my 2017 Nvidia Shield was not helpful. I assume there is transcoding going on here to feed the apps.
But within my house using Plex DLNA, I am able to stream full DSD with the BubbleUPnP app to both an exaSound S88 Surround DAC directly and through a RoPieeeXL Pi4 and USB to a PS Audio DAC. Both DACs tell me they are getting real DSD. Not transcoding. This is tested up to Stereo DSD512 and Surround DSD64 with full albums playing with no glitches. The album art is also coming across onto the webpage of the exaSound DAC.
Note: I am using a Terra-Master F5-422 NAS running version 1.29.0.6244.
