I recently migrated from Truenascore to Truenascale and now my plex apps cannot find my server locally.
I can connect to PMS via the web portal if I use the IP address and I can connect to my server if I use a remote connection.
Anything else does not work. app.plex.tv via the web doesn’t work, nor do any apps on my devices.
Anyone know how to resolve this?
Did you set up with Host networking mode for the TrueNAS CE install?
I’ve tried multiple installs of PMS with and without Host networking checked. With it checked I lose the ability to access the web portal at all, even via IP.

One thing I also wonder if if you are using the same port number as when the server was in the jail. I think I heard when moving a server like this you want to change the port forward you’re using. This might have to do with the ‘plex.direct’ domain names being generated pointing to the old local IP and not the new one you moved to.
I solved the issue. Thank you. I completely reinstalled Truenas and plex and did everything from scratch. Working now.
