For some reason, Tekken 2 often appears as a double-image when playing it through Plex Arcade, or doesn’t show the entire game screen and only the upper-left corner. Any idea why this is?
is this on Android TV? if not, can you post more details (platform, core, etc.)?
Sure. This uses the MAME core (mame_libretro.dll), and I’ve verified this to occur on both Google Chrome on Windows and an iPhone 11 running iOS 14.3. My server is on Windows 10 x64.
Other games I’ve added work fine, (Gauntlet, 1943, Galaga, etc.) but this game has issues. Gameplay-wise, it generally works fine (for a while at least), but it looks like this:
However, after some time passes, it often also just drops the video entirely to a black screen, while continuing the audio.
I think this title switches resolutions between 240p and 480i on the machine itself during startup, which could have something to do with it. (The main board for this game essentially uses modified PS1 hardware, so that would be my guess as to the culprit here. PlayStation 1 hardware is a bit notorious for 240p->480i resolution shifts.)
