Plex Audio Codec Performance Issues

Hello there!

I hope Im in the right Category. I have read some similair Threads, but as Im not that deep into Codecs and stuff I thought I ask. Anways, Im running the following Hardware as a Miniserver:

HP-Elitedesk Mini 800 G3
Intel Quad Core i5
256GB Sandisk M2 SSD
8GB RAM
OS: Linux Ubuntu Jammy 22.04.4 LTS

Im Running my System in my Livingroom, directly wired to my Modem. My Storage is connected via USB on my HP MiniServer and is mounted in Ubuntu.

I have some perfomance issues when playing Movies with different languages for exampel Infinity War. When Im playing it with those specs on my Xbox on my 4k TV it runs good (even better when converting it with 20 mbps)

There are no perfomance issues, buffering or whatsoever when Im playing it like that with german dubs. But when Im switching just the Audio to English TRUEHD or even DTS-5.1 it stops every minute or so. That happens on any Devise. Hardwired and Wireless.

That same thing happend with OPUS Codec some time ago when I´ve still had plex running on my Raspberry Pi.

Is there any chance to tweak that on my System or in the Plex settings?

Or ist it a Hardwareproblem I am facing here, and should I convert my Files before I put them into my database?

Thank you!

Damijan
