Ich habe ein kleines Problem, über das ich schon die ganze Zeit am recherchieren bin, aber ich keine Lösung finde, deshalb meine Frage an euch, ob mir da vielleicht jemand den entscheidenden Tip geben kann. Folgendes Konstellation bei mir:
Ich hatte erst eine DS220+ und habe dann irgendwann gemerkt, dass ich mit den 2 Platten Platztechnisch nicht ganz hinkomme. Habe dann eine Zeit lang mit externen Festplatten gearbeitet und USB, wollte aber eher eine dauerhafte Netzwerklösung anstreben. Dann habe ich mir noch eine Ds415+ gebraucht gekauft. Ich wollte die DS415+ erst als “externe” Festplatte über die DS220+ betreiben, was sich dann aber als Unfug und nicht funktionsfähig herausstellte, leider habe ich da nur ungenügend vorher nachgelesen.
So, nun habe ich die DS415 ganz normal eingerichtet und auch ins Netzwerk angebunden, und es funktioniert auch alles soweit,
Jetzt aber meine Frage:
Kann ich bei der DS220 ein “Netzwerkordner” in die vorhandene Ordnerstruktor von der hin zu fügen, der aber auf der DS415 ist ?
Hintergrund ist Plex, ich möchte gerne alles in eine Mediathek schieben bzw. es so verknüpfen, dass ich über Plex dann beide “Geräte” einlesen und abrufen kann.
Hat da jemand ne Idee, wie sich das technisch umsetzen lässt ? Meine technischer Background ist da leider nicht ausreichend, und beim google finde ich irgendwie immer nur To-Dos, wie ich die DS Ordner in Windows einbinden kann
Ich bin für jeden Tip dankbar, und bedanke mich im voraus.
Bin kein Synology Experte, aber angeblich geht das.

The answer is yes you can, simply perform the following:
Note:
MainNAS = The NAS you have Plex Media Server installed on.
SecNAS = The NAS where you have additional media stored.
On MainNAS, go to Control Panel > Shared Folders and create a folder. (any name will do EG: SecNAS-Files)
Give the folder R/W permissions for both Plex and admin.
Open File Station and click on the folder you just created to highlight it.
Click on ‘Tools’ then select ‘Mount Remote Folder’ then select ‘CIFS Shared Folder’
Fill in the details of the dialogue box. For folder, the address to your SecNAS will look something like this: \192.168.x.x\Media (replace the x.x with SecNAS’s actual IP address). Media will be the shared folder on the SecNAS that you wish to use.
Use the credentials that you normally use to log into the SecNAS, EG: admin + password (use only the Admin account for this.)
Map to, click on the ‘Browse’ button and navigate to the folder you just created on the MainNAS. It will add the address and then append ‘Video’ or whatever name it thinks is appropriate to the end. That will become a subfolder of the folder you first created. (EG: SecNAS-Files/Media)
Make sure you enable 'Mount automatically on startup` then click on ‘Mount’
You should have successfully created a remote folder on your MainNAS that reads the contents from the SecNAS
Open Plex/Web and go to Settings > Libraries and click on Add Library or move the mouse over an existing library name and click on Edit to edit it’s details.
In the dialogue that opens, follow the wizard or click on Add Folders (on the left) and then navigate to the folder that was created at step 7 and click ‘Add’.
Click on Save Changes when you are done.
If all has gone well you should have added a second folder to an existing library or created a new library in Plex that reads the contents of a folder on your SecNAS
