Plex Banner Notification in Monterey 12.3

I’m running the latest PMS on Mac OS X 12.3 and the banner notifications that show when it is scanning the library for changes shows a circle with a slash through it. I tried giving Plex full disk access and restarting Plex but that didn’t help.

It still scans the changes correctly, as well as adds the media to the library. Playback is also fine, but this is a strange anomaly. I’ve attached a screenshot.

Anyone? Would love some assistance with this. Something’s definitely not right because I had to totally quit Plex and restart it yesterday as all my devices lost their connections to the Plex server.

It sounds like you may have a corrupt file.

Try Optimizing database and cleaning bundles.

Plex settings/Troubleshooting

Good thought but nope. Did both of those and still have the same issue.

This was fine in Big Sur. Once I upgraded to Monterey this issue started happening. I did nothing with Plex, just upgraded OS.

Even tried downloading Plex again and replacing the installed app. Still the same issue.

Yeah, there is something a miss with MacOS 12.3. I tried a lot of other things with another forum member with no success. I’m still running Big Sur without issue, glad I keep my itchy fingers under control. The other issue I have avoided is no support for Split tunnelling as yet with Monterey

You could roll back your OS…

Ha. I’m not rolling back my OS because Plex has notification issues. Plus, I need 12.3 for the new XCode.

Haven’t had any noticeable Notifications issues, what were they…

Oh the one you mentioned in your original post.
