Plex broken for weeks. What are the next steps? Do we leave Plex?

I’ve been unable to play most videos for weeks. When I try to start videos on roku, they never get past 13% cache. I posted logs and logs and logs, and no response, no fix. Others seem to be having the same issue.

What do we do now? Find alternatives to plex?

Not the OP, but I just posted about this yesterday (included logs with errors in them). Roku Ulta + PMS 1.5.5.

IF you want to have remote client access there really are no other options though. Emby isn’t up to speed.

To make matters worse, I downgraded while plex devs fix things. But I had an auto plex update script installed. And lost all copies of the older versions because they were in /tmp. And they dont host old versions any more.

So I’m completely down and no idea what to do.

Well for anyone stuck like I was, and not getting support, I believe I have it working now. Weeks of being down is unacceptable.

For me, I had to completely delete all plex folders on my server and reinstall. Now the fun part of waiting for 7000 movies and 24000 tv episodes to rescan. I don’t even want to redo music, pics, or anything else at this point.

So annoying.
