I am not an expert, but enthusiast. Please apologize if I am not
My setup is the following:
- Raspberry PI 4 as a Plex Server, latest build, all components are up to date
- 500GB SSD connected to USB 3.0 port, ntfs filesystem
- Connected to home router via Ethernet, all ports are 1 Gbps
- 1x 4k Samsung TV connected via WiFi, using Plex app
- 1x FullHD Samsung TV connected via Ethernet, using Plex app
- 1x Windows PC connected via Ethernet, using browser player
- 1x iPad Mini connected via WiFi, using browser player and Plex app as well
When I start playing a movie on any of my device it plays smoothly. When I playback movies on my FullHD Samsung TV which is connected via Ethernet it randomly starts buffering and jumping several minutes ahead, not just stopping and continue playing.
I tried to connect that TV via WiFi, issue is the same. I monitored network traffic, did not see any peaks.
I did a lot of research on web but I did not find any solution. Can someone help me to dig into the logs to see what is happening?
