So I have my PMS latest beta ( 1.18.9.2571) using LSIO’s docker container on a Synology NAS. I have transcoding disabled because this NAS doesn’t have a dedicated hardware transcoder. So it’s direct play or nothing.
I have one user in my local network complaining today that the episode she was watching was buffering a lot of times. When I checked the dashboard, everything was direct playing and with no subtitles. The bitrate is just around 10Mbps and the Plex client is an LG TV that’s connected in 802.11ac with my Ubiquiti network infra. Frequencies are setup optimally with no interference at 5GHz, so it’s not a network issue.
