Plex Butler Task Purging Collection Tags

I’ve been uploading a good deal of media into my Plex server the past few weeks and every time the Butler tasks run, the Collection data on a large chunk of movies disappears, forcing me to have to re-tag it all in the morning. It doesn’t appear to have any rhyme or reason to which movies are affected. Sometimes they are movies I just added, sometimes they are movies I added prior to the last Butler task.

The movies affected are a mix of mp4, m4v, and mkv files and I ensured the Album metadata was stripped to prevent automatic matching of collections.

Has anyone else come across this issue? Am I missing a setting somewhere that is causing this? As my library grows, this is becoming quite the annoying issue. Thanks for your help!

Having the same issue. Every now and then I will check a film that I know had collections assigned to it, only to find them wiped clean from the film’s metadata. Just now, went to a collection that previously had 26 films, now it’s 11.
