I have mounted a remote drive and added a folder in it to plex. But I’ve found that when I play videos without transcoding, there is no any problem. Once transcoding is enabled, every a few second it stops to load. If I download the video to my media server and play video, even with transcoding, it is working perfectly.
I am sure my server is powerful enough (5820K). It’s really weird to me that remote + transcoding will be so different from local + transcoding as my downloading speed is high enough. Is there any setting I have missed?
