Plex can't find media on external drive

So, I installed and SSD on my laptop and moved my entire media collection to my external hard drive and istalled Plex to look for the media on the external device. But neither on my Samsung SmartTV or in my phone the media is found and played. How can I solve that?

Did you create any libraries?

There’s plenty of documentation on how to set up Plex:

  • The short Setup Wizard will help you configure your server and account. It will also help you create and add media to your libraries. There is often some preparation of files needed, but you can set up a test library now and rebuild it at any time.
