Plex client on iPadOS crashing at least 5-7 times a week

I’ve just submitted several fresh debug files on this issue and updated the original post with further information.

Other folks seem to be having similar issues of general instability of the iOS client across iPad and iPhone:

Plex on iPad constantly crashes

yep same situation for me, even with flight mode enabled and watching downloaded content the Plex app often crashes on my iPad. So state of WIFI doesn’t seem to have any relevance, nor cellular.

Server Version#: Player Version#: 8.20 <If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled> The Plex app on my IOS crashes evetime I play on my iphone. it can be either a sync’d show or remote play. cannot figure out what setting I should use to stop this. have to constantly restart everything multiple times.

Constant crashes on iOS

Server Version#: 1.32.1.6999 Player Version#: 8.19 Getting constant crashes on iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16.4.1(a). I typically listen to long (3+ hour) MP3s and they will just stop…especially once they start getting past the 2 hour mark. I go to check out what is happening and Plex will start up again and it is back to the beginning of the MP3. I do download them so I am not relying on cellular data or wi-fi. iPhone app closes during use

Does the iPhone app of Plex just quit out on anyone else for no reason? I’ll have it connected to my tv will go to open the app to change an episode or something and the whole app is shut down. So when I go to connect back up to my tv everything just stops. Today I had it going wasn’t connected to anything but my EarPods and it shut down.
