I have a Plex Pass.
This has been an ongoing problem with the plex player on Windows 11, clicking on download just doesn’t work. I don’t see any error messages, but also the downloads just don’t happen.
I also have the Plex Player installed on a Mac Mini on the same network, I can download the same videos (from the same server) there that I cannot download on Windows.
Are other Windows users having this issue as well?
Could please reproduce the issue and provide logs from your Plex for Windows app and PMS logs? Plex for Windows client logs would be located here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex\Logs
@cappy2112 there is a new release for Plex for Windows1.110.0.351. Can you please uninstall your current version and confirm that the install directory (C:\Program Files\Plex) is clean after the uninstall. I would also clear out everything in the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex directory. Then install the latest version to see if the problem is still observed.
IIRC there was at some point a release where some of the files in the install directory were not being properly cleared out and would cause issues with the next release. Glad to hear this is cleared it up and sorry for the inconvenience.
